Our Story

There is no such thing as a coincidence…

We first met in 2018 on Trayvon’s 19th birthday. What were the chances that he would celebrate 200 miles away in Statesboro, Georgia with a high school friend? And what were the chances that Jade had become friends with that same friend? Somehow the stars lined up, and when we saw each other that night, we could not stop stealing glances. Sadly, Tray had to head home the very next day.

Months went by with no contact. Then spring break of 2019 arrived, and Jade and the friend happened to be visiting Tray’s hometown. Jade had no idea, but Tray had already made up his mind that he was going to see her again. Later that night, while Jade was hanging out, Tray came running up the stairs with the biggest smile. Jade was excited, and Tray was so nervous that he barely said a word.

Luckily, that was far from the end. Not long after, Tray finally reached out, and from that moment on, the conversations never stopped. What began with shy smiles turned into long phone calls, inside jokes, and trips to see each other whenever we could. Slowly but surely, friendship turned into love. A love built on perfect timing, patience, and a little bit of magic.

Now, years later, we are so happy to begin this next chapter together with the people who mean the world to us.
